Centorian Reserve - caring for nature

Come along and lend a hand as we care for plants that are now calling this reserve home. We'll be getting amongst it, weeding, mulching, spreading compost and generally tackling a few key jobs to get the site ready for summer.

Work alongside a lovely stream, have pukekos and fantails come and investigate what you are up to and know that you are making their home a better place.

No experience necessary, we'll show you what to do, be around to support you and provide all the tools you might need. You just need to come along dressed to get muddy with some sturdy shoes or gumboots.
