About the event
It's the final push to make some space for native plants to go in the ground this winter, we need to clear the last of the weeds to give the new plants the best chance of survival.
Don't worry if you don't know your weeds - we'll show you what to look out for, and how to get rid of it.
Something for everyone, so if you don't feel like getting stuck in then just come and have a chat, find out what we do and meet some of the team of volunteers caring for the natural environment around the suburb.
Meet at the end of Airmen's Lane, Hobsonville. Please dress for the weather as we do go ahead even if it rains. Sturdy shoes and a drink bottle are recommended.
