About the event
It's time to care for the native plants - weeding and mulching to give them the best chance of survival. A good variety of tasks to do so something for everyone! No prior knowledge or experience, just show up and we'll show you what to do.
Herald Island is reducing pest animals and pest plants to help native birds, plants and bugs to thrive. Help them bring back the birds by caring for native plants that provide food for the birds all year round.
Meet at the entrance to Pahiki Reserve, please come dressed to work outdoors and wear sturdy shoes and bring a drink bottle with you. For more information or if you have any questions, please email heraldislandenviro@gmail.com
