Our lovely Waimarie Beach Reserves needs a tidy-up and weeding, please come along and join us to weed, cut back and generally "spruce- up" the plants and bush.

About the event
Lets get out there and show our lovely Waimarie Beach reserve some love. It's a beautiful spot on the upper reaches of the Waitemata harbour. Lots of special animals and birds call this area home so let's do our best to help them.
Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting messy. Some of the work will be on slopes so you may be scrambling around a bit if you want. We'll provide tools but it would be great if you could bring along gloves and any hand tools you like using in the garden at home.
