Join us as we tackle the weeds and release the native plants!

Time & Location
21 Mar 2026, 09:30 – 11:30
167 Brigham Creek Road, 167 Brigham Creek Road, Hobsonville, Auckland 0618, New Zealand
About the event
The Waiarohia Stream is culturally and ecologically significant and is slowly having a makeover thanks to the efforts of local school groups and amazing volunteers. Come and be part of the transformation and support native plants to thrive so that all of the birds and bugs that rely on these plants can thrive too.
You don't need to be an expert gardener, come along and learn alongside us as we find the natives in the jungle of weeds. We provide gloves and tools, just ask that you come dressed for the outdoors and have some sturdy shoes or boots on as we are walking on uneven ground.
Park at the Brigham Creek Cafe and walk across the road - you'll see someone in a high vis vest to welcome you on site. For more info reach out to reshnu@livingwhenuapai.org.nz
