Surrounded by trees that are hundreds of years old, a stream flowing over waterfalls and native birds checking out what you are up to, you'll switch off from your "normal" life in minutes. Unwind, take some positive action to support the environment and do your bit at this relaxed, easy going event.
A short walk into the bush and we'll be removing some plants that are trying hard to make this place home and crowding out the native plants doing their best to grow. We'll show you what to do, give you all the equipment you need, we just need you to show up willing to lend nature a hand.
Meet at the end of Vanderbilt Parade (off Rosedale Road) for a 10am briefing then we'll head into the bush. It's best to wear sturdy shoes or boots with some grip as we'll be on muddy paths and working of…
