Weeding for natives

We'll be heading into this wonderful area around the Waiarohia Stream (it flows under Brigham Creek Road and out to the harbour) as we support the plants that went into ground over winter and help them compete against the weeds that want to take over again! It's really rewarding work, you can instantly see the difference you have made and the pile of weeds builds up as well for extra validation of your efforts!

All of the tools and equipment you need will be provided so we just need YOU! We'll help you spot the natives amongst the grass and work alongside you to support you if you are a bit unsure.
