10 years in the planning and today is the 2nd annual planting day of a collection of very special trees. Lovingly collected from local orchards and homes (with permission!) and cared for by an army of volunteers - these food trees are going to be carefully planted into their new forever home.
The vision to create a community orchard that is rich in history and where every tree has a story to tell, where plants thrive in organic, regenerative practices and everyone is welcome. That's the story behind the project. Come and be part of making it all come true.
Everyone is welcome, there will be plenty to do and see and people to chat to, find out more about this project and others taking place in Paremoremo, where so many local residents are invested in making the area a haven for wildlife and a place that future generations will…
